Hi friends, my name is Fiona Breen and this year I am lucky enough to be a part of the UCDVO team.  In June 2018,  myself and four other students will travel to Vijayawada, South India and volunteer for four weeks as part of our elective physiotherapy placement.   In the past, physiotherapy students have provided much needed intervention in children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, polio and developmental delays.  These services are provided for children living in villages who have been orphaned and abandoned and all money raised will go towards the provision of useful physiotherapy equipment and aids such as wheelchairs and splints, as well as aiding personal travel costs.In order for me to travel, the aim is to raise €2,600 and any donations, no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated!  Without a doubt, every cent will be put to good use. Thanks a million,Fiona :)
