Hello everyone! This July I will be volunteering in New Delhi for 4 weeks with UCD Volunteer Overseas, in the Community Educational and Development Centre (CEDC). The centre is run by Society for Working Life and the Women, Work and Health Initiative. This project enables 100s of children from the poorest areas of the city to access education and nutritious meals. These funds will go directly to Society for Working Life’s ongoing education programmes in the CEDC and support specific costs of the volunteering project such as the accommodation, food and resources needed, and will also go to the UCDVO programme administration (overseas travel insurance, health and safety, monitoring and evaluation). All donations would be really appreciated, and if you would like to learn more about the project, or are interested in getting involved with UCDVO feel free to give me a text!
