My journey with UCD Volunteers Overseas (UCDVO) deepened from a genuine love for exploring and understanding diverse cultures. Upon encountering UCDVO's mission, I was captivated by the chance to actively participate in meaningful, global community work. Selected as a student leader, my role evolved into spearheading initiatives that directly support the vibrant communities in Uganda, through our partnership with Nurture Africa. This experience has been profoundly enriching, enabling me to contribute to healthcare, education, and sustainable development efforts.
