Hi guys,This coming summer I have the privilege of being selected asa student leader for the UCD volunteers overseas Morogoro, Tanzania project. This wonderful project runs for a period of 4 weeks running from 16th June to the 16th July where a group of 20 other fantastic volunteers and I will provide educational supports and summer camp activities to 3 schools inthe Morogoro region. These educational supports are English educational programmes for Children and Teachers and Computer education programme for teachers. Our teaching the teachers computer skills allows them to successfully teach the children computers upon our departure, in this way, the projects are made sustainable.  From my experience in Morogoro last summer, I have seen the benefit these programmes can bring. The long term effects can greatly improve the opportunities available to the children in education advancement as well as in employment in jobs where technological literacy is essential. Also, the centre of many communities in morogoro are the schools, so the sense of prude within that community increases greatly with the introduction of a fully equipped computer room that our fundraising helps install.in terms of fundraising, in order to journey to Tanzania this summer, each volunteer must raise a total of €2600 and any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,Anthony Rowan
