   Additionally, Autumn Swell is an event which is taking place in November and has been organised for young people by The Methodist Church in Ireland. The purpose of this event is to welcome young people of all backgrounds together for a weekend of fun and surfing while learning about God in an unforced and creative environment. The weekend is packed with activities such as surf lessons, workshops and leisure time.

2. Methodist Women in Ireland (MWI) works to connect all the women's groups within the Methodist Church in Ireland as well as supporting individuals in cases where groups do not exist. This group works to relate the teaching of Jesus Christ to life in the home, the church, the community and the world.

3. This November, The Methodist Church in Ireland has called for greater help for the refugees of Calais. We call upon An Taoiseach to urgently establish a Migration and Refugee Agency with emergency powers to administer the long-term task of receiving and integrating migrants and refugees.
